Job DescriptionThe Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily operational management of a site, overseeing all aspects of facility performance, team leadership, and service delivery. This role encompasses managing internal teams and external service providers, maintaining strong client relationships, administering contracts and budgets, and ensuring full compliance with Health &amp; Safety regulations. The position is central to driving service performance, controlling costs, managing operational risks, fostering continuous improvement, and monitoring KPIs and SLAs. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability, the Senior Facilities Manager ensures that all facility operations meet the highest standards while supporting organizational objectives.Key Responsibilities:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Oversee daily operational management of the facility site, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Lead, manage, and develop internal facilities teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and team engagement</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors, ensuring service quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Develop, negotiate, and administer facility contracts and service agreements with vendors and partners</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Prepare, monitor, and control facility budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Ensure strict compliance with all Health &amp; Safety regulations, standards, and best practices; conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reporting on performance metrics and identifying improvement opportunities</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing process enhancements and operational best practices</li><li value="9" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, issue resolution, and service quality assurance</li><li value="10" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Promote sustainability practices and environmental responsibility across all facility operations</li><li value="11" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Manage facility maintenance schedules, emergency response protocols, and preventive maintenance programs</li><li value="12" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Ensure quality standards are maintained across all facility services and operations</li></ul>Candidate ProfileWe are looking for an experienced facilities management professional with a proven track record in operational leadership, team management, and service delivery optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of facility operations with excellent interpersonal and business acumen. You should be a strategic thinker who balances operational excellence with cost control, demonstrates a genuine commitment to Health &amp; Safety, and possesses the leadership skills to inspire and develop teams.
